Very cool and not often seen is this vintage 1955 Mirostar heat activated revolving/motion Christmas Tree in the original box! Item is comprised of a Chrome colored plastic base and a cardboard insert which hangs over the center Rod. A small Pin is attached to the tip of the Rod and the decorated Green Tree portion rests just on the top pin and the heat from the Bulb radiates upward and caused the cardboard Tree portion to slowly revolve around. As the shade revolves, all the little cut out small Stars give a twinkling appearance as it turns and you look at it from different angles. Item measures about 15 inches high to the tip of the White plastic Star on the Tree and around 9 inches across on the base of the Green decorated Tree portion. The small folded out flaps on the top portion of the Tree allow the heat to exit and causing the motion of the Tree. The item is in spotless shape with not a blemish to be seen on the Green decorated Tree portion. In fact it is tough to find a blemish anywhere on this item! All original nice length old Cord as seen. Original Mirostar Box is still with the Tree as seen (to include even the inner cardboard insert to stabilize the Tree in the box) and pretty solid with just a couple tears on the flaps. An absolutely stunning item to add to your vintage Christmas collection.
