VTG 50s Pair (2) Pressed Glass Nappies Relish Dishes Double Handle w Thumbrest :

Pair of vintage 1950s or earlier heavy pressed glass, double-handlednappies or relish dishes withthumbrests on both handles. All over hexagonal pattern with arched windows alternating with torchiere design is pressed into bottom of dish. Interior of dish is smooth. Sawtooth edge. No chips or cracks. There are a few small flea bites to the edge of the design on the underside from normal use and to the edge of one or two sawtooths, undetectable in use. Bowl measures 4\"across (internal), 7\"from handle to handle and is about 1\" deep (internal). Each dish weighs about 14 oz. Glass is very clear with no coloration. Likely was a wedding gift for a household established in 1953.
