Welcome to Hollyhock Quilts! After drastically downsizing our home recently, I am having to part with many of my collections to accommodate our new space. I will be listing lots of items, some Quilt and Fabric related as well as many otherFUN things, so please check back often!
I have several nice Feedsack Pieces to share with you! This Precious Novelty Red Birds and Blue Mushrooms Piece measures about 36\" wide and from 10\" at one edge to 14\" long at the other. There is a weave flaw toward one edge and a smaller than pea sized peck/pull hole. Washed, ironed and ready for your next project! Enjoy!!

It\'s important to know that feedsacks were often emptied and tossed to the floor of a barn where they might have languished for a long time. You will often find tiny stains or small \"peck\" holes as well as small \"pull\" holes where the sack was unsewn. There may be very slight overall fading if the sack needed to be soaked to make it usable. Minor manufacturer\'s flaws may also be present as they were produced cheaply.
