Offering a vintage Shawnee, signed USA, cookie jar. From an estate and I\'ve owned it for about 22 years. I\'ve included several images, please check them closely.
Very nice choice for your Shawnee collection, pig collection, use as intended or display. I\'ve never used it as cookie storage and I doubt the previous owner used as such either. Super clean inside, no chips on cover or jar edges.
Overall, in super fine vintage condition with no chips, cracks or abuse. I find some manufacturer blemishes with some stray burgundy/brown paint spatter. View the images. And, there\'s an area of discoloration on the bottom and showing on the interior. Again, view the images. Looks as though moisture seeped into the raw clay on the base.
This guy is decorated with green scarf and shamrocks, brown and burgundy/red features and accents. He stands about 11\" at the highest point.Thanks for looking.
