DescriptionIn the middle of the last century, kitschy blown mold soft plastic decorations were all the rage. They are brightly colored and often flocked for texture. Each of the components is attached by a pronged plastic piece that fits into a hole in the component piece. Because it\'s all held together with soft plastic, the components (bunnies, eggs, etc) often come loose and get lost. SO! It\'s hard to find pieces that are complete, like this one!~ This vintage piece features a running bunny pulling a cart filled with another bunny, a chick, greenery and more. It measures about 10\" long. The running bunny measures about 5 1/2\", and the cart is about 4 1/2\". What is tacky in one century, is kitschy and cute in another!

This piece is a centerpiece, with several layers of soft plastic in the cart. The pieces in the cart are pronged, and fit into holes in the cart to hold them in place. Because all the prongs and holes are soft plastic, over the years pieces come loose and get lost - unless you find one like this one, in it\'s original package. The package is cellophane, gather together and held with a soft plastic closure and loop.

This type of decoration was very inexpensive, and sold in five and dime stores, like Woolworths. It is in great condition, and displays well - clean and bright. Because they were so cheaply made and sold, there are probably manufacturing flaws, such as slight areas of missing flocking, AND the ferns that have dropped a few branches. . There isn\'t any usage damage that I could see. The flocking, when a piece is displayed for long periods of time, gets soiled, and is almost impossible to clean. It\'s hard to find them like this with bright clean flocking (and no missing pieces)!
