for your consideration is this very cute retro metal (tin) recipe box made by j. chein in the usa. it is nicely decorated with a variety of fruit and green leaves. the box holds the alpabetical cardboard file. the only flaw is that the back is somewhat bowed.(see picture). thanks for viewing.
