keystone_antiques store This is a gorgeous Vintage Japanese Geisha Jewelry Music Box that you don\'t see every day--it has so much to appeal, with artist-signed (in Japanese characters) reverse-painted holograms on the lid, & a moving opalescent motion wheel inside, with a magnetic ballerina that actively twirls, spins, & circles around it as the music plays!This is a large lacquer jewelry music box, measuring 16\" long x 6 1/2\" x 4 3/4\" tall, with lots of storage space for jewelry. It winds easily from the bottom, & on opening the lid, the music box plays the glorious tune, \"Raindrops Keep Falling on my Head\". The music box is a Sankyo mechanism, one of the best, & I have oiled it to keep it playing for a long time to come, as this is an heirloom piece that you will want to pass down to your daughters & granddaughters alike, it is that unique, gorgeous, & memorable!As the music plays, the center square glass stage shows a gorgeous reverse-painted flowered decor, with a moving, opalescent, Mother-of-Pearl-like disc below it, giving a unique, sensational effect!
