VTG LOT 12 Art Deco Egyptian Revival SCARAB Carved Bead Turquoise Beetle Amulet:
$125.00

This is a VINTAGE/Antique LOT of one dozen (12) Egyptian Carved Bead SCARABS.I do believe they are fairly old, probably from the 1930s through 1950s, mid-century Egyptian Revival, and probably from Egypt imported to the U.S. I am not an expert, but I think these would have to be at least that old judging from other listings I have seen. I am not positive what they are made of. Possibly could be some kind of natural stone of turquoise color, or they may be “faience,” a stone carved bead, or steatite? Each bead was hand-carved and is unique in size and variance, so I believe they are hand made and not from a mold. Each is around 1 to 1 1/8 inches long, give or take, and 5/8 to 3/4 inch wide. They vary in size. Each one appears to be unique, but within that size range. Each one has an unusual looking hieroglyphic symbol carved on the back. The sides are carved edges, some of them have slit openings, and there is a 1/8 to 3/16 good-sized hole on either end of all twelve for beading. A quick look on or other internet sites will give you an idea of the beautiful bracelets and necklaces that can be made with these. Here’s a chance to get a dozen of them at a a very fair price, considering the $20 to $30 you might pay for each one. You can use these beads to make your own scarab jewelry. The scarab or beetle was an ancient Egyptian symbol of eternity, awakening and enlightenment, immortality, rebirth, and longevity.Take advantage of my other sales for MORE vintage, antique and reasonably priced items! PLEASE NOTE ALL OF THE FOLLOWING BEFORE offerDING:Check the shipping calculator, there is a shipping/handling/packaging fee that is included in the shipping calculator, and it is usually 50 cents to $1.00.I pack my items very well and I do not skimp on packaging materials. I use plenty of bubble wrap if needed and plenty of shipping peanuts. I generally ship within 1 day of receiving payment, sometimes the same day.PLEASE make sure you ask questions, do your own research if necessary, and fully understand what you are offerding on BEFORE offerDING. You may have “buyer\'s remorse” before you even get an item in the mail. I\'d rather have my item go unsold than to sell to someone who is going to be completely unhappy.I usually leave positive response very soon after payment, and I try to let you know when I have shipped, right in your response. I\'d appreciate your positive response in return!I do as much research as I can on my items, but I am not an expert in all fields. Many of the items I sell are vintage, vintage means that the item is from a previous era and probably has some use or wear by a previous owner. If you are concerned by an item\'s condition, and you don\'t feel that I have described the condition in enough detail, please ask questions BEFORE offerDING.Buyer pays shipping. Paypal is accepted payment, within 48 hours of sale\'s end, the sooner you pay for your item, the sooner I can ship it to you. Please use a confirmed address if possible. Use calculator to determine Parcel or Priority Mail to the U.S. I combine shipping when it is possible, so please take a look at my other sales.I reserve the right to cancel offers from potential buyers who have a zero response rating, or from those who have several recent negative responses.I believe in win-win selling/buying. Check my response. Most of my sales are positive experiences for my customers and myself. I try hard to describe my items, pointing out both positive and negative aspects. I will reimburse an unsatisfied customer IF my item is grossly misrepresented, otherwise NO REFUNDS, NO RETURNS, so please ASK QUESTIONS EARLY if there is something you want to know that I haven\'t remembered to point out.
