Custom-built C-6 candolier tree starburst with hanging sculptured bead garland, Mirostar or Glolite inspired, designed to display all kinds of C6 stars and reflectors like those from Matchless Wonder, Krystal, Paramount, Noma & other mfrs (star lights pictured are for demo only and are NOT included--sale is for candolier only). Made with nine sockets to reduce the voltage on each lamp compared with standard 8-socket candoliers and so extend bulb life. Sparkling ruby and emerald tinsel with gold tinsel trim and a custom-finished solid brass stand. Months of research and development went into this revolutionary design, which takes this traditional type light display into the 21st century and represents the first real modern innovation in decades. First is the dual adjustable height with removable screw-in tree \'trunk\' that allows you to choose between a traditional small-base look or a more modern tall display which can present your stars above other decorations or garland you may have on the same table. Assembled display is about 16-1/2\" total height with the 3-1/2\" tall trunk (about 13\" high when assembled without the trunk). Second is the ruby \'jeweled\' finish over a pre-owned genuine brass stand, a proprietary process which creates the same shiny colored metal appearance as traditional silvered Christmas ball ornaments and provides a luxurious presentation simply not found in other displays (photos do not fully capture its beauty). The felt-bottomed base also has a unique \'reveal\' around its perimeter that allows the natural brass to show through, which frames out the stand nicely and adds to its rich look. Last photo shows the three parts disassembled. Sockets are vintage, the jeweled brass stand is pre-owned and circa 1980s, all other materials are new. Not a \'hobby hack\', many great features including a level of quality not usually found in other custom builds: -- This was NOT made from a modified photo tree that you often see, many having cheap, soft metal arms that bend easy and tiny bases that tend to tip over, risking your valuable vintage stars. Arms are new resilient professional grade steel that spring back into position on incidental impact (arms can be bent, however, if enough force is applied). Base is solid brass, about 3-1/2\" diameter with additional weighting inside for remarkable stability and long life.-- Unit is wired with brand new top-grade UL 1007 wire rated at 300 volts, not cheap 50-volt auto wire or recycled wire from old strings as is often the case. All solder joints are fully immersed preventing \'cold\' joints from developing. All series connections are wired correctly from negative to positive with no \'crossovers\'. New modern easy-grip plug is GE brand and is non-polarity (no \'fat\' prong) so it can be plugged into other vintage lighting. Generous cord length of approximately 4 feet. Display is constructed and wired by a COMPTIA certified technician. --Arms are wrapped in modern shiny wire-core tinsel garland. Wraps are stacked tightly to properly secure wiring beneath and to help maintain a consistent profile over the length of the arms. --Socket shells and brass inserts are thoroughly inspected for structural cracks/defects (sockets may have some \'flea bites\' along their rims and other marks from use). Socket shells are secured to the arms with high-temp epoxy, not hot glue as is sometimes used (can you imagine with the heat of a C6 bulb?). Rear of sockets are sealed to resist corrosion and insects from entering, but accessible for servicing. Brass inserts are set deep enough in the socket shells for safety and stability but still high enough to allow the greatest variety of bulb types to fully seat and engage the positive terminals.--Ruby jeweling is a smooth, chip and scratch resistant finish that can easily be touched up by dabbing with a dark red artist\'s marker available at most big box office supply stores. --Hand-strung hanging beads replicate the traditional tree trimmings of string garland and ball ornaments. String is attached in back but is free-hanging in the front so it can be easily re-centered when needed. Beads can be removed by snipping string in back if you want to attach your own trimmings instead (florist wire works great for this). --Tree shape is easily recognizable by anyone as a traditional Christmas tree display figure and projects a beautiful image even with the lights off. We feel this is the finest custom made C6 star display available, and is built with great pride and attention to detail. We planned to have this new design out in November as promised, but life had other plans, and so we do apologize for these late postings--fabrication of these takes time, and we are working hard to release more as soon as they are completed and while our supply of materials last. #1: This item is a work of art fashioned by hand, and so will have all the irregularities and imperfections in fit and finish as with any such hand-made craft. It is not perfect. Brass stand and base are used, and so the flaws, marks and dings found on a used brass item like this will show through the transparent ruby finish and be totally visible. Like any hand-made artwork, it has frailties and so needs to be handled gently with care. Don\'t force bulbs into sockets or over-tighten. If you bang it hard against something or drop it, you WILL break it. #2: It is designed for limited-term use during the holidays, not for all year. #3: It cannot be cleaned with liquids or abrasives. #4: It may not accommodate every possible vintage C6 or E10-base light bulb. You must be responsible for judging if your bulbs will work with this unit-ask questions if you need. REMEMBER this is for C6 bulbs for series wiring. If one bulb is bad, none of the others will light either. Please see photos to prove the unit is fully functional. Trust me...if you fill all the sockets with your bulbs and they don\'t light, you have a bad bulb or one of them is not seated deep enough to engage the positive contact at the bottom of the socket. #5: Jeweled finish is chip and scratch resistant--it is NOT chip or scratch PROOF! Think of it as a nice colored Christmas glass ornament--the finish will be fine with normal gentle handling, but if handled roughly or you ding it or scrape it against something the finish will definitely scratch, chip and wear off! Get that dark red marker I mentioned. #6: Socket shells are epoxied to hard steel wire arms, both which are positioned at predetermined proper angles as shown in photos--if you try to bend the arms too much or adjust the sockets by grabbing and twisting them, you WILL break something!. #7: Absolutely No Returns, No Refunds, No Exchanges for ANY reason arising from any issue described in this Disclaimer. Like I said, it\'s all common sense. #8: No warranty is expressed or implied on any of this item\'s components. It will ship in working condition as shown in photos, but beyond that it is sold as a work of art only, As Shown, As Described, and As Is, so please study photos carefully.
