Up for your consideration is a VTG OLD ANTIQUE PHILIPPINES BARUNG BOLO DAGGER KNIFE CARVED BOVINE HORN HANDLE . The handle is made from carved bovine horn with small brass tacks. The knife measures 16 1/2\" long, blade alone is10 1/4\" and is 11/32\" thick at guard and 1 3/8\" wide at widest point. The pommel end has a cap of brass and was used as a washer to secure the blades rat tail end that is hammered over.Condition: HORN HANDLE HAS CRACKS AND BLADE HAS WARE AND HAS AGE STAINS, AS SEEN IN PHOTOS, BLADE IS IN NEED OF A LIGHT CLEANING. BLADE HAS SLIGHT BEND AT FRONT OF BLADE. PHOTOS BEST DESCRIBE, SEE ALLsee all photos as they are a good part of the description. This weapon speaks for itself, great piece for any collection.
