I have a scrap quilt made from what was around. All cotton and some were flower/ feed sacks. Multiple colours in bright vivid color and have a good vintage appeal. The front is hand tied to the back, and the back is rolled over and machine stitched around the front perimeter. The backing is a pastel blues and pinks andfeels like a thin interior lining, possible another blanket or flannel sheet, but notbatting. Measurements are 80\" x 84\". There is some stains on the backing so I think it would be for crafting or cutting- 1 large stain that measures about 10 x 9\" and few other smaller one that are barely seen. There is only 1 hole found that 3/4 x 1-1/2\" with ragged edges. You could even put a new backing on then it would be nice - or perfect for early quilt crafting projects..
