Made with turquoise and coral chip inlay in a sterling silver setting

Signed / stamped A. James

Native American/Navajo made

Slide measures 2 1/2”tall by just over 1 3/4” wide at the widest part across the wings

Black braided leather cord is 4mm thick and measures 38\" long from tip to tip

Includes sterling silver beaded tips that eachmeasure 1 7/8” long

Weighs 31 grams including the slide, cord, and tips

Uses aBennett clasp on the back to hold the cords

The flap of the clasp is stamped \"Bennett Pat Pend\" which indicates that the piece is from the 1950s to 1970s

Since chip inlay was pioneered in the 1970s (by Navajo artist Tommy Singer,) this piece is almost certainly from the 1970s
