Vintage large 4 qt. Pyrex glass ovenware #444 cinderella mixing/batter bowlin the short-lived Sandalwood pattern, produced only from 1961 to 1962. White ivy leaf pattern on a tan background,one of two Sandalwood color variations. Bowl measures 13\" L x 10-1/8\"W x 4-1/2\" H. Heavy bowl weighing3-1/2 lb. Embossed on bottom “444 4Qt. Made in U.S.A. Ovenware”, with thePyrex logo.

Clean bowl that shows use. No chips, cracks, or repairs. Prominent scratches and spot areas of color loss onhandle/spout. A few spots ofwhite color loss to ivy pattern. Lightoverall scratches/utensil marks inside. View photos.

Pyrex Sandalwood: “Sandalwoodwas one of the earliest patterns released, but it did not resonate well withthe consumer market so was discontinued after only a yearlong run. Initially it was produced only on aCinderella Bowl set (440-5) and a Bake, Serve and Store set (470-5). A refrigerator set and a butter dish werereleased later. Sandalwood was producedas either a tan pattern on a white background or a white pattern on a tanbackground. Sandalwood wasIntroduced in 1961, and manufactured 1961 to 1962.” (pyrex.cmog.org)
