Hand forged axe head, made from the famous German manufacturer \"OCHSENKOPF\".Ochsenkopf Iltis European model felling axes have a very thin, slightly springy blade for maximum cutting efficiency. The blade is hardened almost all the way back to the eye, so with careful resharpening the tool will deliver a lifetime of excellent service.
As you may see from the photos above the axe head is marked from the manufacturer.
The markings are clear and well readable.
