HereI have a very early pair Bausch & Lomb Ray Ban Sunglasses. Theyare in very nice shape. The lenses are free from scratches. Theleft eye lens has a lot of the reflective mirror-type finish wornoff.

Frameand nose rests are in excellent condition. Nose rest appears to betortoise shell.

SIZE: From inside hinge to inside hinge 4 5/8 inches.

SIZE: Outside hinge to Outside hinge 5 inches.

Thebar across the top reads:

“B&LRAY BAN USA” on the top of the bar and

“B&L1/10 12K GF” on the opposing side.

Thecase is different from any I have seen. There is NO snap. The caseis spring loaded and works well. Case is made of metal and iscovered with a man-made material which emulates leather. There is apiece loose on the back which when I look at it closely, I can seethat weaved fibers make this material. Case is in very good conditionwith a tiny dent on the bottom and the above mentioned loose / tornmaterial. There is a Made In U.S.A. logo on the bottom. Felt on theinside is in very good condition.

Overall,this is an outstanding pair of glasses
