DESCRIPTION: This Folk Art style glass ornament, purchasedin 1997, was an interpretation of a popular early Americana design chalkwarefigurine in the company’s original line; on the back is the gold stamp ofauthenticity (VFA © 1997). For moreinformation on Vaillancourt Folk Art, see The ornament features a mean-looking blackcat with bright yellow eyes and his tail in the air. He is done in a matte finish with whiteaccents (check out those claws!). The lustrousorange base shows a pumpkin, a dark black tree, and a black fence, allhallmarks of a scary Halloween night!The ornament is made of mouth-blown glass and was handcrafted andpainted by a small glass company in Lauscha, Germany. It has never been used, and was removed fromits packaging only for photographing, having been stored since purchase in asmoke-free Environment. It’s a greatornament, perfect for your Halloween decorating!
