With piercing blue eyes, this American Santa follows the tradition of lore and tradition—with a shimmer of elegance. The coat and hat of this Santa has a gold leaf base that shows the decadence found in glass Christmas ornaments and has been embellished with red stripes.

A simple Santa in terms of accessories, Judi designed this piece as a way to understate the modern role that Santa represents in American history. With a green tree in one hand and a sack of toys in the other, this piece is sure to add a pop to any modern or historic Christmas collection.

The Vaillancourt collection of 19th and early 20th century chocolate, ice cream and candy moulds has pieces from the world\'s most renowned makers.

This Vaillancourt original was created in our studios at the historic Manchaug Mill in Sutton, MA. Designed by Judi Vaillancourt,each one is hand cast in a confectionery mold, air dried, painted in oil paints, then given several finish coats including antiquing for an aged patina. Because pieces are hand painted, there will be variations.
