Here\'s an antique Vapo Cresolene medical vaporizer lamp in box, with original embossed VAPO CRESOLENE glass miniature kerosene lamp...complete with brass emb burner, original chimney, ornate iron stand with original finish.....it is even has the original aluminum pan on top that held the Vapo Cresolene medicine fluid (which was deadly poison if taken internally).

The little glass lamp is embossed VAPO CRESOLENE USE KEROSENE It has the original threaded collar and brass burner, which is emb V.C.CO with stars. Excellent shiny mint condition with no chips or damage. Shiny clean.

It has the original clear glass cylinder chimney. Total height of lamp and stand is 6 1/2\"tall

The lamp nests in a round base of the fancy, ornately decorated, gold painted iron stand. The flared tin top is embossed PATENTED AUG.4 85 - AUG.8 88 in faint hard to see letters. It still has the original aluminum dish on top thatheld the Vapo Cresolene liquid which was heated by the lamp to create a healing vapor similar to the Vicks Vaporub Vaporizer that many of had to endure when we were children.

The lamp and iron stand are all in excellent condition. The burner even has the tiny round wick!

The original cardboard box has most of the lid missing and some damage on the top of 2 sides as you can see in the pics. Box gives full directions or use, etc.
