This piece of cloth is part of a bandage worn to cover and clean the sores from the stigmata that marked his hands and the side of his chest in locations corresponding to the passion wounds of Christ, showing the intimate bond between Padre Pio and the passion of our Lord Jesus. The size of reliquary with the bronze medal is approx 5x5 inches, 12.5x12.5 cm. The relic is covered by a glass and with the original wax seal that assures the integrity of the relic.
