This is a beautiful and one of the kind , all hand pieced , hand stitched in the 1930\'s \"Fan\" pattern design . The quilt is made up of blocks approx. 6 1/2\" square . Each block has a 6 section fan that is made of beautiful bright multi colored , multi designed cotton cloth fabric , surrounded by off white cotton fabric. The quilt is bordered by a 3/8\" wide soft green cotton material .. Every fan on the quilt is different .

All hand stitching is 6 - 7 stitches per inch . The back is off white cotton fabric .

The quilt size is 87\" x 66\" .  It is considered a full size quilt , but note ...it was photographed on a queen size bed. 

The quilt is in excellent condition with no tears , holes , loose fabric . It has three very small light brown spots on the top ( see pics.) There are no spots or stains on the back ..it is possible the three spots will come out when cleaned , the quilt appears to have never been used or washed/cleaned but rather put away after it was made .

It has been appraised as in \"Excellent Condition\"  and verified by family members that it was made in the \'30\'s . 

One of the nicest hand pieced quilts you will find .
