Very Fine Antique Japanese Imari plate. It measures approximately 9.25 inches with small scalloped edge. This porcelain plate is blue, white and red with gold gilt detailing and small areas of teal. Motif includes bonsai trees with blossoms, butterflies and birds. It is believed to be late 19th century, but exact age is unknown. No chips, no known or visible repairs. There is some wear to the surface paint in a few small spots. (shown in photos). This plate comes with black wood plate stand and small metal plate display hanging hook. It can be hung on the wall or displayed on table or bookshelf.
