Very Fine, Heavy 10 InchVintage Loud BOSCH 12V SIREN - Appears to be Unused

This is an excellent old 12 volt BOSCH European vehicle siren that is very loud and has a very powerful motor. We bought it recently in a local antique shop because it had the appearance of a automotive part that had never been in service. It looks like it is New Old Stock, probably from the 1950s or perhaps the 1960s, with wrinkle-finish black paint on the siren body and its mounting bracket and regular black paint on the motor portion.

It has a heavy 12 volt cable attached and by touching it to the positive pole of a our 1990 JEEP car battery, it came to life with a mighty roar, just as a siren should. It sounds perfect with no hesitation, no rattles, just a blaring siren noise of a great many decibels.

Looks like it would be perfect for a big boat, a firetruck, an ambulance, a tank, etc. Many emergencies left in this one! Offered with an extremely low opening offer and without a reserve price.
