CIRCA 18-19TH CENTURY IMPERIAL DRAGON TEXTILE

For your consideration, from a Private Collection, Calgary, Alberta, this is a very fine Chinese Imperial textile representing a particularly Qianlong style five-clawed Dragon with flaying horns and mane, bats at all sides representing great fortune, amidst a fiery brocade of flames and clouds, above a mountain of breaking waters.

This piece was professionally framed some long time ago. Museum grade glass which prevents fading. This prevents damage and ensures the textile survives in its near pristine condition.

Measures approximately 19x21 inches framed. 13x11 inches sight.
