For sale is this beautiful antique Islamic ewer. This is an exact pair to one I sold very recently. The ewer dates to early - mid 1800\'s. It has been hand chased with beautiful floral motifs and animals as well as stunning calligraphy. It is made from copper but plated with tin. The tin has been worn due to its very old age and use over many years.
It is a beautiful and very unusual ewer.SizeThe height of the ewer is 26cm.It is in good overall condition. However there is one small dent to the lid, but you can fix this yourself very easily if you wish. If you purchase more than one item, I am more than willing to combine postage to send it to you as cheaply as possible. However this is not always possible depending on the nature of the items purchased. Sometimes certain items will not be packed together if one of them is very fragile. You can email me in advance if you have any questions, but I will always do my best to combine items for postage.
