A really very fine coral brooch carved possibly in the form of a chrysanthemum, almost certainly carved in Italy, set in a 12kt gold mount (marked 500). Condition of the coral is very clean and well carved, I do not see and cracks or chips on the front, there may a few tiny chips on the back, but it is hard to tell if they are just normal variations in the edge of the coral. The mount could be English as they tended to favor 10kt and 12 kt gold in jewelry making. Measures 2 inches wide by 1 1/8 inches tall. Buyer to pay shipping, good luck!
