Thank you and Happy Holiday Season to All nice Turkish Shamshir / Kilij saber dating from around 1700s to early 1800s era, mounted with a deeply curved and very well balanced Quick blade which exhibits lovely light patina and very active watered damascus patterns throughout with areas of scattered grained pitting mainly towards the tip area. Solid silver mounts of the hilt and scabbard showing nice dark silver tarnish and engraved floral decorations, having original old leather over wood scabbard with \"Steps of Allah\" stitching lacking some of the wire. Impressive grips of desired material with a silky wrist string tassel still present. Overall solid and intact with small losses and shrunk moments to scabbard\'s leather due to extensive age of the weapon.
