Wonderful 1940 vintage, store display mannequin..........
This is a fabulous, very large antique, store advertising or display mannequin with separate, longgraceful arms that have square steel inserts (for ease in dressing or fittingand pinning materials for sewing). She measures a very graceful, 29-30 inches tall with a lovely formed figure with a nicely styled, short blonde curly hair style, beautiful big blue eyes, eyebrows, molded eyelids, lovely lips and soft blush. Probably used in a fine department store\'s sewing department for display with patterns and fabrics or to display with lingerie or other accessory items. Her arms are gracefully shaped to either raise, lower or point in either direction. She has long slender, slightly bent legs with black hi-heel shoes with holes in their base to be inserted into a wooden or metal pegged base (no base is included). She is in wonderful condition with no breaks or repairs, only one light surface crack near her knee and a slight bend at her ankle which are normal for her age. She has not had any restoration or repainting and retains all her original charming finish and softly applied make-up. She wears her original, two-piece red, white and blue knit sweater & skirt with button details. What a charming and attractive figure she will make for a sewing or advertising display.
