Very Large Meiji Japanese Cloisonne Enamel Vase w/ Hawk & Egrets - 14 5/8\"

Wonderful rare large vase with design of hawk in hunt ofegrets in fight. Scene over water with sky blue backgroung consistent with Meiji era coloring. Interior enamel of mottled green enamel attest to the old age estimated at Circa 1890-1900, Meiji period.

A very large vase has unique shape standing 14 5/8\" tallwith alargecircumferenceat the widest point. Nicely shaped with with flared top and narrowing at base.

Very good conditionwithonly very minor wear due to age and size. A couple very light bumpshave been pictured, but no emamel loss or rim dents. Please see pictures to complete the description.
