Wearing a very strong lightly curved broad blade of fine watered Wootz steel having lightly worn gold koftgari maker marks, scrolls and decorations on both sides, exhibiting nice rich patina throughout and small areas with light scratches and wear, fine watered patterns throughout. Solid and intact overall with light play to the disk pommel, comes with a nice blue velvet over wood scabbard having floral ornaments throughout the fabric, one break in the wood on the lower half. Nice early working saber of a wealthy and possibly noble Hindu warrior, in very good condition for its extensive age.
