A very elegant example of this rare type - subtly bulbous form, with a gentle curvature along its length. A very fine-grained wood worked to a very smooth surface which has developed a soft lustrous patina, slightly darkened at the handle. This is in nice contrast to the remnant ancient crusty resin of the grip.
In great almost flawless condition, 68 cm.in length. An exemplary, classical early club.
