Very Primitive Nativity Set Mary Jospeh Baby Jesus Manger Early Quilts Coverlets:

This is NOT an old nativity set. I have used very early coverlets and old quilts to make these with this nice early look. I don\'t use a pattern just work as I go. No one ever turns out the same. I made several last Christmas but couldn\'t keep up with the orders since they take so long to make. Joseph is close to 9 in tall. His clothes were made from a quilt that was made long ago w/ old men\'s suits. The head Dress is from early coverlet. Mary is close to same height & dressed in quilt fabric. Jesus is 5 in. long..the manger is 6 1/2 in. long and made from early coverlet. I like to display them on aged cheesecloth with tiny lights under the cheese cloth. The cheese Cloth and lights not included.
