Very RARE Tomato Face Sugar & Creamer Bowl Moriyama 1920s 1930s:

You are offerding on 1920s or 1930s, this is a tomato face sugar bowl wearing a chef\'s hat lid and a tomato face creamer. VERY RARE The mark on the bottom (see photos) indicate that these are by Moriyama Pottery (which was located in Mori-Machi Japan) and are hand painted. Also Hall marked \"Made in Japan\". LOCAL STORE PICKUP IS AVAILABLEIn a bright orange paint with green leaves, the approximate measurements are: Sugar Bowl - 5\" length with handle; 4\" height with chef hat lid Creamer - 3\" height; 4 1/2\" length with handle. These look to be in very nice condition. I see some chips on the pieces (See photos-but the pieces can be arranged not to see them. The interior of the sugar bowl has some dark spots but those dark spots don\'t come through to the outer surface. There are a few small imperfections in the glaze (for example the \"pore\" on the cheek of the creamer), but they aren\'t very noticeable - and just add some character to the pieces. There is a little worn area on the glaze near the spout of the creamer - I believe it is just a painting imperfection as that area is a little rough but please look at photos in detail. These pieces have been stored away in a cabinet for many many years and obtained through a estate sale - so they may have accumulated a little soil along the way.
