Very RARE William 1V Georgian Hallmarked Birm 1830 Sterling SILVER Moth Bracelet

Here it is....the most beautiful, unique and ultra rare antique silver bracelet I have ever listed on .Fully and clearly hallmarked Birmingham 1830, from the early reign of William 1V (26 June 1830 - 20 June 1837) and showing the King\'s head. The makers mark is LV&W for Ledsam, Vale & Wheele; a jeweller and silversmith based at Newhall Street, Birmingham, registered Dec 1825.I do not expect to see its like again. There is a fabulouly detailed large moth to the front, with outstretched wings. Exquisite workmanship!!The bracelet was quite ahead of its time in the adjustable closure settings on the back of the band, with 4 interspaced rectangular slots for the fastener to go in.The band is lightweight, slimline and very feminine. So different in style to the later Victorian silver bangles/cuff bracelets that are so much more common. I was absolutely amazed to come across this piece when I acquired it.Measurements:
Designed to fit a wrist size between 6\" and 6.75\" circumference. Not suitable for larger wrists.Front moth display is 3cm top to bottom , band to back is 1.2cm top to bottom.Weight: 15.24gmsIn excellent antique condition; left uncleaned as preferred by many buyers; this piece has been well cared for over the last 186 years. An opportunity to acquire a very early example of the fashionable silver cuff bracelet/bangle that will thrill and delight the discerning collector.

All photographs should be supersized for full, clear detail of item on offer and its condition. The photos are a major part of the description. Box shown is for display only and is NOT included in the sale.

IMPORTANT-PLEASE READ

Please bear in mind that whilst I have done my best to provide a fair and accurate description of this item, all dates and descriptions are only my opinion and should NOT be taken as statements of fact.

Buyers should read the description in full and study all the photographs (which themselves form part of the description). The images can be enlarged to show more detail. Please ask any questions PRIOR to offerding. You should also check item measurements carefully.

By offerding on this item you are agreeing to these terms and conditions and have satisfied yourself that the item is what you want.

Please note-any boxes shown in photos are for display purposes only and are not included in the sale (unless otherwise stated).

Sadly I have recently had a number of buyers contact me days after winning an item to inform me they offer \'in error\'. This is grossly unfair on a seller who believes they have a winning offer and genuine underbuyers who did not win. Please offer carefully as all \'errors\' will be treated in the same way as \'non paying buyers\', a dispute filed to recover fees and a strike on the non paying buyers account.

The aim is to make this a pleasurable experience for both buyer and seller.

HAPPY offerDING!!!

The items that I sell are antique/vintage, unless otherwise stated in the description. Pre-owned items have been used by owners before you and as such, may have signs of wear. If you are looking for only brand new or pristine condition items, then my sales may not be for you.

Please send any contact through \' messages\' as I am not always near my emails and many end up lost forever in my spam folder! I will reply to you at the very earliest opportunity.
