This box has printed paper depicting a missionary converting natives - it also has some printed history of the society on the side with the flip piece of wood for emptying.
One side has a LM monogram
The society was formed in 1795 and this piece is from the mid 1900s and was used for collecting money - the basehas a piece of wood that when pushed on one end flips up to empty the money
