~Very Rare Antique German Victorian Expansion Toy Embossed Dresden Paper & Wood~Up for sale here is a very rare antique circa 1900 Victorian German expansion or accordion toy. Various 2-sided color lithograph and embossed Dresden paper figures are mounted on to a wooden base that stretches and opens like a bric-a-brac or accordion folding set. There are 7 different figures total and each is illustrated front and back. Included are a girl with egg baskets, a goose, 3 little girls walking hand in hand, an older gentleman with pipe seated on a bench, a cottage house with trees, a boy standing and another seated boy selling fish. This is in incredibly fine condition (small amount of paper loss to goose and girl at base on backside), especially considering the material, age and fragility of such a toy; which is also why so few of these have survived intact. This can fully open and articulate into a circular form. It is stamped \"Made in Germany\" on the underside. The wood has original green paint. Measures about 20\" when fully expanded. When closed, the tallest figure is 3.5\" high x 6.5\" wide and 2.5\" deep. Again, this is a very rare toy in superb condition for age and material and it is being offered to you at a reasonable opening offer so please enjoy!
