Very Rare Antique Repousse Tea Caddy E G Webster & Son, 1886-1928, Silver Plate:

A beautiful, very detailed repousse silver plate tea caddy depicting a forest scene of men or boys either riding or capturing a wild ram in the woods. Webster was known for its highly chased hollowware and English reproductions. This particular piece was made between 1886 and 1928. It is a hexagon shape (very rare) and measures 4 1/4\" tall and 2 3/4\" wide. Marks on the bottom are \"W and S\", and has a star, a lion and a fleur-de-lis\'s. There is also a hand scribed number 834. The pieces is silver plate over copper and is in excellent condition for its age and does have very light ware on bottom edges. I have not tried to polish, or recondition this piece in anyway. Please examined pictures to determine the exact condition.
