More than 100 years old (circa 1900 or earlier). Very rare and virtually never comes up for sale (within the past 5 years I only saw one other at a famous NY dealer\'s which was in far worse condition but$2500 more). Bold, beautiful, and unique nomadic work of art. Wool pile/foundationwith bright cotton (imagine hanging it and shining a soft spotlight on it--will surely transform your entertaining space). Very good condition overall and excellent condition given its age. Professionally washed 6 months ago and stored since. Size is about 5ft x 4ft. Collector/investment piece. See my other rugs.
