Here is a really stunning, unusual and antique solid silver and dark wood jug, most probably a milk jug.It is beautifully handmade.I am not certain of the exact age of the piece but I believe it to be 19th to early 20th century.
It measures approx 6.0 cm across and the other 12.5 cm long.It weighs 73.8 gramsIt not hallmarked but it is silver and the wood is some sort of exotic dark hardwood.The condition is really excellent, it has a very small crack and it is hard to notice.Please see the pictures which are high resolution.
