Very, Very rare Anniversary clock by Anton Harder in excellent original condition and working order, Harder patented the anniversary clock in 1880 and later formed the firm Jahresuhrenfabrik and designed a clock that would run for a year but it was not very accurate, he sold the patent in 1884 to deGruyter of Amsterdam who allowed the patent to expire in 1887 which is when the German mass production of anniversary clocks started, this example dates from somewhere around 1882 (I could be wrong). The glass dome is in near perfect condition with just a few small chips round the rim, the clock is in excellent condition and working order, it has a piece of velvet in the base which I would say is original and in excellent condition. New suspension spring added by clock maker. Clock maker had the clock running for over two weeks and in kept good time. Hand-Blown glass dome.
Note: I pulled a pin for the weigh (For shipping) - Pin will be included. Clock maker states that every time this clock is moved, it needs to be re-leveled and reset to work properly.
