Must have set for the Holt Howard Collector! Very rare set of \"Salty & Peppy\" shakers. This cheerful winking pixie duo salt-and-pepper set was named \"Salty & Peppy\" in Holt-Howards 1959 catalog. Both pieces are equipped with unique wooden handles which are painted and color coordinated to match the 8 vertical stripes on each pixie. The handles are glued into each pixie\'s shaker.Both shakersare equipped with a rubber stopper on the bottom to hold in its contents. Salty has three frontal holes and Peppy has two. This adorable couple is signed under their bases with the letters \"HH\" and theyboth have a black/gold paper sticker. They are not dated but the pair was part of the 1959 Pixieware releases. They stand about 4 1/2\" tall and are a very rare find!NO chips or cracks noted. Light age related grazing to finish, some light color loss to handles.
