This lithograph is extremely difficult to find, because it is signed by then-President George H.W. Bush. President Bush agreed to participate in the Gathering of Eagles while in office in 1992, but at the last minute his duties prevented him from making the trip to Maxwell Air Force Base. As a result, the print run of 1,000 lithos was signed by all of the Eagles EXCEPT Bush. However, after the event, a GoE organizer hand-carried a small stack of lithos to Washington, D.C., managed to get scheduled on the President\'s docket, and had a very limited number of lithos signed by the President. This print is one of these, and is all but impossible to find. The only one I could locate online had been saleed in Dallas, TX a few years ago for over $6,000.
The print is numbered #412 of 1000(see photos).It is also signed by artist Jay Ashurst. It consists of three panels: two side panels measuring 7\" x 27\", and the center panel measuring 19\" x 27\". (see photos)
The print is in excellent condition. It has been stored in a mailing tube and will be shipped that way; it will be naturally curled. A Gathering of Eagles program booklet is included. (see photos)

This visit became the genesis for the Gathering of Eagles program.\"History of the Program

The first official Gathering of Eagles (then known as \"Great Moments in Aviation History\") was held in 1982 when a small faculty and student group was chartered to develop an aviation heritage program. This initial cadre designed a program encouraging the study of aviation history and the contributions of aviation pioneers. Fifteen distinguished aviators were invited to share their unique personal experiences through a series of teaching interviews and social events with members of the class. These legendary figures were a diverse group from many nations and services.
