Very rare Irish provincial solid silver tea spoon by William Ward of Limerick
Dated circa 1800
Celtic point handle with an engraved pattern to the front of the handle and an initialled cartouche
Condition: Good , has a small solder repair to the back of the bow where the handle is joined , this is reasonably neat and is not visible to the inner bowl, its very stable and not overly outstanding. There is some scratching and wear to the upper handle and general surface wear all over. Bowl and tip have nice shape. A good example of a rarely seen spoon.
Hallmarks: Struck twice with makers mark WW and device
