These are audio specific tubes. The tubes tested out even and strong, matched 82/82, 12 available, this was a very rare find. New message from:odeophile1(231)I have two sets of the same 1953 GE tubes. Outstanding tubes. Dead quiet. Sweet midrange and upper frequencies. Bass is tight and clean. Slightly smaller sound staging than my current favorite tubes. Mazda silver plate 1962. However the GE are from an era of superb construction and materials. I d place them in the top 5 favorite tubes Mazda silver plate RCA 1960 Mullard CV4004 and Raytheon black plate.
