Very Rare Pair Gilded Convex French Carved Wood & Gesso Mirrors 1900s EraThe mirrors measure 53 tall x 21 wideThese 1890-s-1910 era mirrors were extremely expensive when they were made. These extremely refined and delicate convex mirrors are extremely sophisticated and made of carved wood and carved gesso. The finish is an original old gold leaf with it\'s original patina. There are some very, very minor losses which can be seen in the photos but normal for their age. These must be hand-delivered and crated or even picked up by you at our store. They will not survive UPS or FedEX for certain. Call Dave at 215-749-2104 for questions about the mirrors or delivery costs.The vast majority of our furniture is painstakingly restored in an \"Old world\" French-polished finish for a luxurious finish.An important note when an item is French polished, the piece will have no odors, nicotine stains or residue and absolutely no off-gasses since we use Shellac which is inert and a natural product found in nature. This is very important for people with allergies and chemical sensitivities!
