RARE figurine, Richard Eckert Volkstedt Rudolstadt Thuringia Germany antique figurine of woman painter. Damage to one arm half is missing.Founded in 1894 by Eckert producing \"LUXURY\" porcelain. This mark was registered and entered on to the RWZR ( Reich-waren-zeichen-register) on the 27/03/1894 (Furstliches Amtsgericht Rudolstadt No.11). The mark was withdrawn in 1896 when a certain company (Meissen) demanded the removal of the Blue Crossed Sword mark, so as you can imagine this particular back stamp is extremely rare, desirable and very collectable as it was only allowed to be used for two years.
