A rare series in a rare un-recorded shape. This series is called Music and Dance B in the Royal Doulton seriesware books,but is commonly refered to as Morrisian,as the base stamp indicates. It was introduced in 1899 and is one of the oldest series to be made. This particular piece is in great shape with just the usual crazing and a small chip on the base rim that seems to be glazed over in production. It has a frieze of girls dancing with garland against a background of trees in colors of green and gold,and on the base is the Doulton Burslem stamp used until 1902. 7\" tall,pattern # D330
