Very Rare STONE ROSES 1st Demo Cassette Tape 1984 + Original Case & Artwork MINT:
$1120.10
VERY rare first demo tape from The Stone Roses from 1984. Only 100 ever made.
Given to me in 1984 by the band - so I can confirm genuine provenance - and has been carefully looked after for the last 33 years! Case, inlay and cassette are all in mint condition.
Tracks are:-
- Tragic Roundabout (never been released)
- The Misery Dictionary (the original title for \"So Young\")
- Mission Impossible (never released)
- Just A Little Bit (originally known as \"Nowhere Fast\" and never released)
All tracks recorded and mixed in an 8 track studio in Manchester in Sept 1984 by the original 5 piece band.
Tape has \"The Stone Roses\" imprinted on it in red, dated 1984, with a time of 15 minutes.
Comes with the original cassette case and inlay - artwork by John Squire. The inlay includes original contact details for Ian & Andy and Caroline Read - the Stone Roses\' Manager at the time.
Have checked it and it still plays fine!
