Arisarum vulgare (Friar\'s Cowl)
Friar\'s Cowl is a summer dormant species with a perennial rhizome, arrow-shaped beautiful leaves from late autumn to spring and narrow, pale brown and white striped spatha with an unusual ,mouse like looking protruding greenish-brown, narrow spadix. Native of rich soils throughout the Eastern Mediterranean and Asia Minor, rarely occurring .For any rich, well drained substrate in pots, for un unusual appearance !
