I am offering for sale a truly wonderful vintage guitar. My 1976 Handmade and signed by Kazuo Yairi .......YW-800. Here is a super opportunity for you to collect this rare guitar sought after by the many Yairi fans for a long time. This 1976 high end K.Yairi guitar was handmade by Kazuo Yairi who was famous for his skill and the top-end gear he built! Some say the best luthier in Japan at the time. And the YW-800 is one of the best, and most beautiful. The exotic bookmatched woods are not only breathtaking but promote the outstanding tonal qualities as well.

It features a tight grained solid spruce top, with artfully grained Jacaranda/Brazilian Rosewood sides and back, stunning mother of pearl inlays uo the fretboard and throughout the bindings of the guitar, Grover tuners. New pickguard as one I had removed was very large covering both sides of soundhole, (slightly/temporarily lighter wood where older pickguard covered). This model is already a highly sought after collectible, and an awesome player. The sound of this Yairi is unparalleled. Crisp even tone across and up/down fretboard. Bass is punchy and attention getting, with clear smooth mids and highs. Perfectly designed neck for easy playability. excellent low action (see pic at 12th fret), (with plenty of additional adjustment left on the saddle if desired). Deep rich tone that must be heard to be appreciated. A player you will not want to put down. Only minor scratches, a great shine, with some fret wear, but frets still fine overall - with no buzz or dead frets.
