Very Rare Vintage Pair of LSI, Bogen Communications Division 2 Way Accoustic Suspension Speakers - 1960sTake a look at This pair of speakers of Bogen model SS-250 2 way accoustic suspension speakers with an 8\" woofer and a 2 1/2\"tweeter. They are housed in real wood cabinets that show wear. (check photos please for more details ) They would make a great refinishing project. I believe these are from the 1960\'s. I tried looking these up online and got no results other than the history of the companies involved and their mergers which leads me to believe that these were made in the 60\'s. The speakers sound excellent and require very little power to drive them. The highs and midrange sound very clear and bright and the bass compliments them with a solid background. I don\'t know how many watts these can handle because half of the label on the back of one of the speakers is missing. I have had these hooked up to different receivers and amps that range in power from 5 wpc up to 50 wpc and these speakers made them all sound great. I have them hooked up to a vintage Onkio receiver right now. The receiver puts out 50 wpc and the speakers sound excellent at all levels with no distortion. I\'m including a pair of speaker wires that will allow you to hook these up to just about any receiver. They would sound nice with a real tube amp. They are quality made speakers that are since long gone and you will be hard pressed to find a pair. You won\'t be disappointed with these. The cabinets measure 22 1/2\" tall x 12 1/2\" wide x 10\" deep.
